Jake Kolar, Assistant Coach

Jake graduated in 2008 from Elk River as a five time letter winner and an all conference captain. He has coached three different sports and is currently attending the University of Minnesota to pursue a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise and health science.

Rob Lehman, Assistant Coach

Rob Lehmann- is a graduate of Elmwood H.S ,WI 1997. Rob is a Chippewa Valley Tech College Grad 2000 Machine Tool. UW Stout Grad Tech Ed 2003. Hamline Masters of Education Grad 2008. He currently teaches at the Rogers Middle School in Industrial Technology and is the Head 9th grade football coach.

Ryan Donnay, Assistant Coach

Ryan Donnay is returning to the mat after a three year break. Previously Ryan coached in the St. Paul School District, Elk River High School, Elk River Junior High program, and freestyle/greco for the Gable Club out of Elk River. Ryan is a 1998 graduate of Elk River Area High School where he was a two sport captain and earned All-Conference honors his junior and senior years in both wrestling and football. Ryan was a member of Elk River's 1996, 1997 & 1998 state tournament teams which placed 4th, 2nd, & 4th respectively. Ryan was also a state qualifier in 1998. He graduated from Hamline University in 2002 with a B.A. in Secondary Social Studies Education. While at Hamline, Ryan was a 4-year letter winner on the Piper football team. In 2008, Ryan earned his M.S. in Education from Saint Mary's University. Ryan currently teaches 9th grade American History & 9th grade World Geography at RHS. Ryan is also in his 9th year of coaching football for the Royals.

Chris Donnay, Varsity Head Coach

Chris Donnay, Varsity Head Coach. Chris started his wrestling career in Glencoe, MN and moved to Elk River in Middle School where he continued to wrestle and received three varsity letters. Shortly after High School, he started coaching Wrestling in Elk River, which he did for 9 years at the Jr. High and Sr. High Level. Then he was a varsity assistant coach in Rogers for 2 years. As well as wrestling, Chris has also coached high school softball in Rogers for the past 9 years, the past 3 years as a co-head varsity coach.
